Well done to all UASC swimmers who competed at this years SENW Summer Championships.<\/p>\n
We had a total of 8 swimmers competing with 38 events entered between them, this is a fantastic achievement and testament to the hard work you have all put in over the last 12 months to gain those qualifying times, you should be very proud.<\/p>\n
With the sessions being split across three weekends, first up was for the older swimmers 15 and over, with Nicola Capstick<\/strong>, Alex Thompson<\/strong>, Indya Sharpe<\/strong> and Evie McMullan<\/strong> taking part in 15<\/strong> heats and 8<\/strong> finals in total.<\/p>\n Indya Sharpe<\/strong>\u00a0came home with a Silver<\/strong> in 50m Backstroke, and Bronze<\/strong> in 100 Breaststroke.<\/p>\n then it was the turn of the younger 14 and under Swimmers, with Ethan Allpress<\/strong>, Felicity Boyle<\/strong>, Amelia Mardel<\/strong> and Adam Jones<\/strong> taking part in 23<\/strong> heats and 6<\/strong> finals across the weekend, with Ethan Allpress<\/strong> finishing the weekend with Silver<\/strong> in 100m Backstroke, and Bronze<\/strong> in both 50m and 200m Backstroke.<\/p>\n Some fantastic swimming by all competitors, which can be found on the Swim England North West\u00a0YouTube channel<\/a><\/p>\n Results from the event can be found on the Swim England North West results page here<\/a><\/p>\n Thanks to all coaches, officials and helpers from UASC who supported the competition.<\/p>\n
