These will be held on 12/13 January at Workington and 19/20 January at Kendal.
The format of sessions 1 to 6 will be changed so that the finals will be swum as soon as practicable after the corresponding heats, rather than leaving all the finals to the end of a session. This will be done to increase the rest periods for those swimmers competing in the finals.
Presentation to medallists will take place as soon as possible after the completion of each final.
There will be an 800m for boys and a 1500m for girls added to the programme.
Session 7 (at Kendal – Sunday am) will comprise the 1500m girls and the 1500m boys.
Sesion 8 (at Kendal – Sunday pm) will comprise all of the relay events.
The qualifying period for the 2019 championships will be from 5th February 2018 until 19th December 2018 (the closing date for entries).
Qualifying times will be as 2018; boys 800m and girls 1500m to be determined.
