2008 and Adam Peaty is ranked 88th in the Midlands in the 14 year age group. 8 years later he breaks the world record.

Some would think at 14 you might have an idea about a swimmers potential. This proves once and for all…it doesn’t!

And finally…anybody who think they can identify world beaters at 9 years old are clearly delusional!!
