North West Summer Regionals 2018
Swimmers who turn 11/older this year.
Entries to the Swim North West Summer Regional Championships close at the start of April. If you think your swimmer may have qualified for Regionals (the next step up from Cumbria County Age Groups which were held in Jan/Feb) please can you read the following carefully.
The Consideration Times for Regionals are attached. These are LONG COURSE times. Please convert your swimmer’s short course pb (unless they have a faster long course time) to Long Course using the Pullbuoy conversion tables, “ASA tables” and check against the consideration times. This should be done as soon as possible. Times must have been achieved at level 1, 2 or 3 galas i.e. Club Champs times are not admissible.
If they have achieved the consideration time or faster, please check the attached Programme to see when the event takes place and then enter via our website NOT LATER THAN 2nd APRIL. There is no leeway at all on the entry date.
Entry should be made through our website following Gala Information > Gala Entry Information > Online Entry Form using the meet name “SENW Summer Regional Champs” or via this link
Please note that the times this year are CONSIDERATION TIMES and so entry is not guaranteed and will depend on the number of entrants; therefore on this occasion we will collect entry fees afterthe entries have been accepted so you do not need to make payment on entry.
Qualifying to swim at NW Regionals is something that only a few swimmers will achieve, especially at an early age, so please don’t be disappointed if this doesn’t apply to your swimmer – but it is something to aspire to of course.
Any questions, please ask.
