long distance session on the Friday and splitting the day up into smaller 3 smaller sessions.

LONG COURSE – FIRST COME FIRST SERVED therefore you are advised not to book accommodation until your swimmer’s entry has been confirmed.
Entries are now open but at the moment there is not a UASC coach scheduled to attend so please contact secretary@uasc.me.uk if you are interested in entering your swimmer – you can go poolside with your own child if you have DBS and Safeguarding certification.

Level 3 Gala for swimmers 9 and above – upper limits apply. Last chance to get County Age Group qualifying times at a Level 3 gala. This is a recommended gala for UASC swimmers. Ask other parents for hotel recommendations near Workington if you are staying all weekend. Do not use Satnav to get to the pool – it will take you to the old one which closed last year!

Fun gala registration at 4.50pm swimming 5-6pm approximately, then over to the Sports & Social Club for a meal, presentations and disco.

NORMAL TRAINING SESSIONS END ON SATURDAY 23RD DECEMBER AND RECOMMENCE ON TUESDAY 2ND JANUARY.
There will be training sessions during the holiday for swimmers who will be competing at the 2018 Cumbria Age Groups championships only. Information on which swimmers may attend which sessions will shortly be issued. All other swimmers please have a good rest and enjoy the festive season!
Long course gala level 3 with all events. Recommended for swimmers aiming for NW Regional times; this gala is NOT first come, first served and if it’s over-subscribed (which it likely will be) the slowest swimmers will be eliminated. For this reason you are advised not to book accommodation until you know that your swimmer’s entries have been accepted. Please discuss with your child’s coach before entering to make sure you choose appropriate events. Entry times must be converted to Long Course – please ask if you aren’t sure how to do this.
